About Charlie & Gus
We are a small but mighty shop that loves kids! Being a mom to 2 boys, I know that they are happiest when they’re wearing soft comfy clothes. Kids like to wriggle and get up to mischief and Charlie + Gus apparel is made for both.
Our story began in 2014. I felt let down by the lack of comfy and and modern lounge wear for kids. Girls had pink options and boys had blue. I have created a collection of fun unisex clothing that is far from pink and blue. Kids are crazy about our animal prints and grown ups love the soft organic fabrics and the excellent quality of our clothes.
Everything we sell has been made in my studio in Toronto, Canada. We use organic cotton knit, bamboo, and ethically sourced French Terry fabrics for all our garments. We have a small team of seamstress we we personally know, love and support.
We don’t sell in seasons, but rather in collections that we update a few times a year.
